Three bedroom, detached, converted barn, in a village with roof terrace and outside courtyard (sleeps two-six) “le beau coin” is located just off the main square of the village, next to the church, with stunning views out over the valley (Val d’Dagne) to the Corbieres hills. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, together with unspoilt countryside, this is the location for you. This lovely old stone barn conversion “the beautiful corner” features three bedrooms. Formerly a wine cave (both the bathrooms are converted wine vaults), the barn has been restored, using only the best quality materials and finished to the highest standards. You have your own private roof terrace, with barbecue, for dining or just relaxing in the sun, with those stunning views. The courtyard is another private, outside space for relaxing or dining, offering a little shade. The living room has a television, featuring all the main British channels, including radio stations, plus a stereo, cd’s and dvd’s. The bookshelf features many interesting books on this Cathar region.

The kitchen is fully fitted with quality appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher, range/oven and a large fridge/freezer. There is a washing machine downstairs in the toilet. The main “double” bedroom has it’s own en-suite bathroom, with a large walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms, one a double, the other a twin, share a bathroom and separate toilet, together with a bath and a walk-in shower. Hair dryers and towels, including beach towels are provided. A small welcome pack is provided in the fridge, including a welcome gift. The sunny roof terrace features a dining table and chairs, sun loungers, barbecue and stunning views out towards the Corbieres hills. There is a children’s playground area in the village. Fresh bread is delivered every morning and various mobile shops visit the village. The neighbouring village has all the facilities you should require, including a grocery store (with many delightful local products), boulangerie, tabac, post office, garage (also selling petrol), wine cellar, doctors/pharmacy, hairdressers and a cash point. The medieval village of Lagrasse, a fifteen minute drive away, has numerous bars/cafes, restaurants and art galleries. Everything at “le beau coin” has been put together with great care and attention to detail to ensure you have a superb holiday. You’ll be hard pushed to find another rental property offering these high standards.
