Three bedroom village house, with terrace
and garden (sleeps two-five) “le beau coin” is located on the southern edge of the village, with stunning, uninterrupted views of the Corbieres hills. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, together with unspoilt countryside, this is the location for you. This lovely old stone house “the beautiful corner” features three bedrooms. Formerly a school for girls, the house has been restored, using only the best quality materials and finished to the highest standards. You have your own private, south facing garden, together with a barbecue and a dining area. There are two local lakes and rockpools for swimming/picnics, only minutes away. The living room has a television, featuring all the main British channels, including radio stations, plus a stereo, cd’s and dvd’s. The bookshelf features many interesting books on this Cathar region. |
| The kitchen is fully fitted with quality appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The main “double” bedroom has it’s own ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, plus french doors opening out onto a private roof terrace, featuring stunning, panoramic views of the Corbieres hills. The other two rooms, one a single and the other a twin, share a bathroom, together with bath and shower. A hairdryer and sets of towels are provided but not beach towels. A small welcome pack is provided in the fridge, including a welcome gift. The south-facing garden features a dining table and chairs, sun loungers, barbecue and stunning views across the rugby field towards the Corbieres hills. There is a childrens playground area in the village. Located within the village, with it’s medieval chateau, is a bakery, grocery store (with many delightful local products), post office, wine cellar, hairdressers, tobacconist, cash machine and a garage, also selling petrol. The medieval village of Lagrasse, a fifteen minute drive away has numerous cafes and restaurants. Everything at “le beau coin” has been put together with great care and attention to detail to ensure you have a superb holiday. You’ll be hard pushed to find another rental property offering these high standards. |
